Our Story
ASUKA JEWELRY was born from a journey of rediscovery.
Founder and designer Asuka Saito grew up in Japan with a love of creating. After moving to the United States, living between cultures led her to reflect on identity, belonging, and the things we carry with us through life.
During that time, a piece of jewelry passed down through her family became a quiet source of connection — linking past and present, family and self, memory and future.
That experience shaped her belief that jewelry can be more than adornment. It can hold memories, emotions, and personal meaning, becoming part of the story of the person who wears it.
This belief became the foundation of ASUKA JEWELRY.
ASUKA JEWELRYは、ひとつの「再発見の旅」から生まれました。
創業者・デザイナーのAsuka Saitoは、日本で育ち、幼い頃からものを創り出すことに心を惹かれてきました。渡米後、異なる文化の中で暮らす経験を通して、自分自身のアイデンティティや居場所、そして人生を通して何を大切に抱えて生きていくのかについて考えるようになります。
そんな時、家族から受け継いだひとつのジュエリーが、静かなつながりを感じさせてくれる存在となりました。それは、過去と現在、家族と自分、記憶と未来をつなぐものでした。
その経験から、ジュエリーは単なる装飾ではなく、記憶や感情、個人的な意味を宿し、身につける人の人生の物語の一部になれるものだと考えるようになりました。
その想いが、ASUKA JEWELRYの原点です。

Founder / Designer
Asuka Saito
Originally from Sapporo, Japan, and based in San Francisco, Asuka Saito is the founder and designer of ASUKA JEWELRY. Her background spans psychology, international relations, color studies, and gemology, bringing together an understanding of people, culture, color, and materials in her approach to jewelry design.
Shaped by her Japanese background and life in America, her work draws from nature, craftsmanship, balance, and personal stories. Through ASUKA JEWELRY, she creates timeless yet modern pieces designed to become meaningful parts of the lives of those who wear them.

日本で培った感性とアメリカでの暮らし、その両方から影響を受けながら、自然、クラフトマンシップ、バランス、そして一人ひとりの物語を大切にしたデザインを追求。ASUKA JEWELRYを通して、タイムレスでありながらモダンで、身につける人の人生の中で意味を持つジュエリーを生み出しています。
